Rostkafé is a brand that represents a history of the passion for coffee and the high quality roasting. Founded in Italy, the brand is known for its attention to selecting coffee beans from various regions of the world, and for its philosophy of working with roasting methods that enhance the unique characteristics of each individual variety.

The story of Rostkafé begins with a group of expert roasters who, after gaining deep knowledge of roasting techniques, decide to create a brand that places coffee at the center as an element of excellence and research. The approach to quality is reflected in every stage of production, from selecting raw materials to creating customized blends to satisfy the tastes of the most discerning consumers.

The name “Rostkafé” comes from “Röst” ( german for “roasting”) and “Kaffé” (coffee in swedish), a reference to the Scandinavian coffee tradition and the precision in roasting.

Today, Rostkafé is a brand appreciated both in Italy and abroad for its ability to innovate in the coffee world, promoting the idea that every cup of coffee should be a unique experience, characterized by rich and balanced flavors. Their mission is to offer not just a product, but a true sensory journey that accompanies coffee lovers at every moment of the day.

Among these, in the 1950s, the need to purchase, process, and blend raw coffee arises: this is how it comes to life TAG, “Torrefattori Associati Genova”, of the Boasi family (Rostkafè 1903).

In 2004, the production moves from Via Spalato in Genoa to the new plant in Serravalle Scrivia (AL): 11,000 square meters of state-of-the-art production facilities, capable of producing 200-250 quintals of coffee per day.

In 2007, TAG has achieved 2 importants quality certifications, ISO 9001 and IFS International Food Standard, ensuring ever-increasing attention to the quality of the product and the services provided to customers.

In 2016 TORREFATTORI ASSOCIATI S.p.A. is born a new company owner of Caffè Pera, Caffè Boasi and Rostkafè.
